We are a cable manufacturing and sales organization dealing in electrical products (copper wires, cables, busways, transformers & etc.). Our recent expansion coupled with the commissioning of our new cable manufacturing plant in Kerteh, Terengganu has compelled us to seek the best candidates experienced in production and operations management to join our dynamic, innovative and fun organization. We have immediate vacancies in the following position(s):-

Production Manager >>> Terengganu - Kerteh

Closing Date : 01-12-12

Responsibilities :

• Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule;
• Ensuring that the production is cost effective;
• Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality;
• Working out the human and material resources needed;
• Drafting a timescale for the job
• Estimating costs and setting the quality standards;
• Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed;
• Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment;
• Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programs;
• Working with managers to implement the company's policies and goals;
• Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed;
• Supervising and motivating a team of workers;
• Reviewing the performance of subordinates;
• Identifying training needs

Requirements :

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Managers specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
• Willing to working at Kerteh, Terengganu
• Full-Time position(s) available
• Strong leadership skills, independent thinking, strong organizational and planning abilities and excellent analytical and problem solving skills are essential.
• Strong financial acumen and data-driven quality leadership
